ERASMUS+ EXCELLENCE IS A CONSTANT OF VSGT MARIBOR

Vocational College of Hospitality and Tourism Maribor is the leading institution in Slovenia in the field of Erasmus+ student and staff mobility which reflects in our international connections, activities and number of mobilities (we exchange more students and staff than all Slovene highschools and vocational colleges of hospitality and tourism and significantly more than the University of Nova Gorica and the University of Novo mesto). 
We are “the largest of the smallest”. The key factor of our success is quality we provide through individual interviews, workshops, Erasmus+ day, promotion, marketing campaigns, etc. At the moment we are implementing a record number of Erasmus+ international projects, that is 9 projects.

We are an EXAMPLE OF GOOD PRACTICE, and the head of the international office Mitja Petelin shares knowledge and experience with colleagues at various workshops and consultations.

The Erasmus+ program is a project work planned and implemented in accordance with the EPS and the internationalization strategy in accordance with the ECHE Charter. The ECHE Charter for the period 2021-2027 was assessed by the EU as excellent, as were all our final project reports.

Prospective students who decide to study with us have many opportunities to receive funding for Erasmus+ mobility, which allows them to cover costs and acquire new knowledge, build connections and friendships.
