On 29 May 2024, the VSGT Maribor hosted the precompetition for EYCA 2024, where our Kaja Naveršnik presented herself. For the competition, she prepared a mushroom soup in her own way, for which she spent more than 2 months perfecting the recipe under the mentorship of Tomi Gregorinčič. She also prepared a video showing the story that inspired her to prepare this dish and a plate.
The expert jury, composed of Tanja Lešnik Štuhec, Sreček Koklič from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and last year’s European EYCA winner Boštjan Volk, decided that Kaja will represent Slovenia at the European competition in Sicily at the end of November 2024.
