International cooperation

At home and around the world, shortly sums up the international activities of VSGT Maribor, an open, modern and European-oriented school, well known internationally.

In our first years, our focus was more on acquiring basic skills of operating as educational institution; however, in the following years we focused more on the European hospitality and tourism field with the purpose to bring innovative knowledge and skills into Slovenia to improve the existing working methods. Educating and connecting with the best in the international environment helped us develop study programmes that are comparable within Europe. Knowledge and experiences help us co-create the innovative service sector.

With numerous activities and overall integration, VSGT Maribor is a well-respected partner in international networks. We are active members of several international associations:

International networking is the key aspect of VSGT Maribor enabling us to work qualitatively as well as guiding us to improve the existing activities and develop new working methods. Thus, we encourage and maintain our development and the development of hospitality and tourism sector at home and abroad.
