Enrolment in 2024/2025 will be possible for the following study programmes:

- study programme Wellness
After graduation our students obtain the professional title:
- study programme Catering and Tourism: organizer of hospitality activities
- study programme Wellness: organizer of wellness activities
Application and enrolment process will be in line with The Call for Enrolment 2024/2025 from the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.

ENROLMENT TERMS
Higher vocational study programme is available to candidates who:
- graduated from a general or vocational secondary school or have completed the suitable education according to previous regulations
- have completed master craftsman, supervisor or manager examination, have a minimum of three years work experience and a bridging exam in general secondary school subjects required for enrolment in tertiary education or meeting requirements imposed annually by the Call for Enrolment for higher vocational colleges.
FIRST APPLICATION PERIOD: 20 February – 15 March 2024
SECOND APPLICATION PERIOD: 23 August – 29 August 2024
INFORMATIONS FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS
Every student has to have very good language skills (very good knowledge in reading, writing and speaking of the language) in order to be able to study here.
Please note that fluent language skills in Slovenian (or English) are vital for successful studies at our College.
If you have finished secondary school in a country other than Slovenia, you do not need to enclose certificates to your application that you send to Post-secondary Vocational Education Application Service (orig. VIŠJEŠOLSKA PRIJAVNA SLUŽBA): http://vps.vss-ce.com/VPS/ (the same applies if you have already obtained a validation of education).
However, by 15 March 2024 (thehttp://vps.vss-ce.com/VPS/ end of first application period) and 29 August 2024 (the end of second application period) you have to send the following certificates directly to the higher vocational college, which you wrote as your first choice on the application form:
- verified copy of the general certificate of secondary education
- verified Slovene translation of the general certificate of secondary education
- verified copies of the certificates od the last two years of secondary school
- verified Slovene translations of the certificates of the last two years of secondary school
- copy of identification document (passport or personal ID card)
- chronological description of your entire education
- completed application of recognition of foreign education (form N)
Higher vocational college proceeds with the process of recognition of education. Afterwards, it issues an order establishing whether you meet all obligatory educational conditions for the enrollment into the study program you are applying for and informs the higher vocational application institution (Višješolska prijavna služba) about the result.
For certificates issued in former Jugoslav republics, acquired before 25 June 1991, the process of the recognition of education is not necessary. Your application should include application form, verified copy of the general certificate of secondary education and verified certificates of the last two years of secondary school.
International Baccalaureat – IBO is equal to high school graduation certificate, acquired in the Republic of Slovenia.
IMPORTANT: Foreign students have to exhibit appropriate knowledge of English language – certification of the B2 level (B2 level is adequate to the knowledge of the first foreign language taken at the mature examination) or the IELTS exam performed by the British Council.
PART-TIME STUDY
ENROLMENT TO OUR COLLEGE IS MADE THROUGH POST-SECONDARY VOCATIONAL EDUCATION APPLICATION SERVICE (orig. VIŠJEŠOLSKA PRIJAVNA SLUŽBA):
Candidates, who will complete secondary school (high school) in a foreign country in the current year, must send the certificates and their certified Slovene translations together with the special application for recognition of foreign secondary education (vlogo za priznavanje izobraževanja) to the Post-secondary Vocational Education Application Service in 10 days after they have been issued or not later than 15 March 2024 (first application due) and until 29 August 2024 (second application due).
- Candidates who are foreign citizens, have to send a photocopy of their identification document together with certified certificates, certified Slovene translations and the application for the recognition of foreign secondary education.
- Post-secondary Vocational Education Application Service then sends the certificates, translations and the application to the higher vocational college written on the first place in the application. Higher vocational college then proceeds with the procedure of recognition of foreign secondary education and issues a decision stating whether a candidate meets the general enrolment conditions for their study program and notifies the Post-secondary Vocational Education Application Service.
- For the graduation certificates from the former Yugoslav republics, issued before 25 June 1991, the procedure of recognition of foreign secondary education or the decision about meeting the general enrolment conditions for the study program is not necessary. Candidate can send the application and the certified photocopy of the final certificate and certified certificates of the last two years of secondary school (high school).
- Degree on international Matura examination (International Baccalaureat – IBO) is equivalent to general matura certificate issued in the Republic of Slovenia.
Enrolment into a part-time study extends in terms determined by the Post-secondary Vocational Education Application Service.

Price list of CHT Maribor was confirmed at the conference on 24th February 2024 and is valid from 1st March 2024 for all students (full-time and part-time study) in accordance with the Rules on Tuition Fees and Contributions in Higher Vocational Education (Ur. L. RS, No. 21, 21st March 2011).
