WSET level 2 Award in Wines 2019

THE WSET CERTIFICATE
Vocational College of Hospitality and Tourism Maribor is situated in the second largest Slovene city Maribor with a colorful wine tradition. It is also the city with the oldest vine in the world (more than 450 years old). Therefore, we and BELVIN Wine School are proud to host this exciting seminar where participants will be awarded the internationally approved certificates of Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET®).
WHAT IS WSET?
This qualification is popular with wine professionals and will give participants excellent all-round professional knowledge. WSET works with an extensive network of over 400 third-party teaching and examination centres, known as Approved Programme Providers, in over 50 countries around the world who offer one or more of their qualifications. These external Providers are being rigorously checked to ensure that they deliver the high standard of teaching required to enable students to pass their WSET qualification.
HOW WILL YOU BENEFIT?
This qualification builds on the knowledge and skills taught in the Level 2 Award in Wines, and shows how these can be used in the hospitality industry. It is ideal for anyone who needs to gain skills in knowing wines and wine service, including those wishing to make their first steps into a career of a sommelier. The theoretical part will be strongly supported by wine tasting, wine pairing and field trips.
